Effective May 25, 2021, fully vaccinated patrons and library staff may choose to show proof of vaccination status and go mask free inside Lake County Library District locations in compliance with Oregon Health Authority guidelines. Patrons who do not want to share information about their vaccination status are welcome to come inside library facilities while wearing a mask. Patrons who do not want to wear a mask or show proof of vaccination status can still use Library Take Out service, WiFi from outside the building, and any of our online or digital services. Library staff ask that you be prepared to show proof of vaccination every time you visit and want to go mask-less, even if you visit multiple times a week. “We are not a medical facility prepared to handle your private medical information. We will not be making lists of patrons who have been verified or notes on your library record. We will also not share any information about your vaccination status with anyone else,” said Hutchinson.
