NEW! For 2017, PLAYA has included a new element to their monthly PLAYA Presents. Inspired by our community conversation, This Place, facilitated by Oregon Humanities, on October 1, 2016, PLAYA will engage the community in conversation with PLAYA artists and scientists. Conversation topics will vary with each new monthly PLAYA Presents and have been designed to reflect the work or research of current residents and relevance to our community.
Featured residents include Shae Bishop (ceramics, NC), Mark Hendrickson (photography, AZ), Leslie Kirk Campbell (fiction/non-fiction, CA), Katya Apekina (fiction, CA), Emerson Whitney (fiction, CA), Jana Richman (fiction, UT), Frances Valesco (printmaking, CA) and Jonathan Durham (painting/ sculpture, NY).
The public is invited to attend this free event at PLAYA, located at 47531 Hwy 31, between mileposts 81 and 82.

Ride the free Senior Center bus. Seating is limited to 14. Call the Main Library in Lakeview at 541-947-6019 to reserve your seat today. The bus will begin loading at the Main Library in Lakeview 12:45 pm for a 1:00 pm departure. Anticipated return to Lakeview is by 5:00 pm.
