Friends of the Lake County Library support the Lake County Library District by providing funds and person power to enhance the libraries' collections and services.
Friends activities include:

  • Running the ReRead Room second-hand bookstore out of the Main Library
  • Emailing an electronic newsletter about the Friends and the library
  • Planning and running fun events several times a year
  • Selling books online:

Most proceeds from bookstore sales and memberships help enhance the libraries' collections of books, audio books and movies, but from time to time special projects are also funded by the Friends.
Friends membership is easy! Memberships start at $10 annually. Download a membership form below and return it to any Lake County Library location, knowing your membership is going to a make our libraries great! If you'd like to get more involved with the Friends of the Lake County Library, meetings are held the second Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm in the Main Library - Lakeview meeting room.

The program is free to parents and costs community partners $25 per year per child. You can donate directly to the Lake County program by sending a check made out to 'Friends of LCL' with 'Imagination Library' in the memo field to Friends, 26 South G St, Lakeview, OR 97630.
Friends of the Lake County Library issue a newsletter with book reviews, interviews, jokes, and more about every other month. Use the form to sign up below (even if you're not already a Friend) or explore back issues.
