Seed Libraries and Houseplant Exchange
The Lake County Library District has seed libraries and houseplant exchanges in each library.
Houseplant Exchange: Bring a cutting of your houseplant or take a cutting of someone else's houseplant. It's that easy! It's free!
Seed Libraries: The seeds are free! The seeds we have are from the Seed Savers and are organic. We encourage you to learn basic seed saving techniques and help us keep this program going by returning seeds to us after your harvest. If you are unable to save your own seed, please consider donating a packet or two of fresh commercially grown, non-hybrid, non-GMO seed to help keep our libraries stocked.
